Using “space blanket” technology the Mirotec range of wraps are designed to reflect back heat generated by the horse thus maintaining muscle flexibility and keeping the muscle groups warm. Utilising 2 x Full Mirotec removable panels this airflow rug allows veterinary examination of the horse without removing the rug. Side cut outs allow access for the stethoscope to check both heart rate and gut sound parameters. Ideal for use in the treatment for muscle spasms (tying up), strains, Arthritis, Sacro joints. Can be used before exercise to pre warm back muscles and joints and post exercise to prevent stiffness. Can be used as a travel rug but care should be taken to ensure the horse does not overheat. In extremely cold conditions the rug may be used as an under rug but it is suggested that the duration that the rug is used is monitored initially to ensure that the horse is comfortable wearing it.
