Horses have evolved as trickle feeding herbivores browsing and grazing on fibrous foliage.
With the domestication of the horse we have introduced it to a cereal based diet, which it cannot digest well in quantity, and is responsible for many of the behaviour and physiological disorders experience today.
As we ask more of our horses through our equine leisure pursuits, sometimes their natural foliage alone will not meet their daily nutrient and energy requirements.
With this in mind, Primero have developed a balanced TOTAL feed containing all the natural ingredients a horse needs for an active life.
Total is a "complete" feed that is high in health and performance enhancing Oil and Fibre and low in Starch and Sugars that has been shown to increase digestive disorders.

Primero also contains Yea-Sacc a live yeast culture of a specific strain, developed in Kentucky USA and demonstrated to improve fibre digestibility, phosphorus and calcium intake, balanced hindgut function, improved coat and hoof condition.
Ideal for horses that compete, Primero has been sucessfully fed to Eventer, Endurance Horses, Carraige/Driving Horses, Show Jumpers, Mares and Young Stock, Andalusian, and Lusitano horses, Show Horses, Veterans and infirm/convalescing Horses, Laminitic Horses as well as Family Hacks.
Primero Total is milled as required, ensuring the feed is delivered fresh direct to your stable or livery on a pallet.
Because of this, the feed is available in three pallet sizes of
1000Kg (50 x 20Kg bags), 500Kg (25 x20Kg bags) or 240Kg (12 x 20Kg bags)
