Additional Coolant for Equi-N-Ice bandages -  a cold compression treatment for horses and are effective against swelling and bruising. They can be used on muscles, tendons and ligaments, and work by drawing heat out as opposed to other products that work on driving cold in. No refrigeration, no mess no mixing required, no unpleasant smell. Equi-N-iCE is specially designed to conform to all the competition rules set by the FEI and the Jockey Club. Cold and compression is well documented as one of the most effective way of treating inflammation, swelling and bruising of muscles, tendons and ligaments.  Once used the Ice bandage can be washed and reused by adding enough ready mixed Coolant to make the Ice bandage damp and replace in the re-sealable pouch provided with the bandage until needed again.
